I went to remove my stitches for the teeth surgery on 18 May 2009, Monday at 9.15am!!

Well, it wasn't really painful especially for the wisdom teeth stitches. It was the stitches at the impacted teeth area that was rather painful. But anyway, the doctor was kind of nice and she was also the doctor who was in-charge of my surgery of 9 teeth!

I asked if it was tough but she said it was still okay just that I had many teeth to remove and she has to constantly count to remove the right number. Haha. Her assistant nurse passed me a syringe with a long needle to remove the food that will be trapped in my wisdom teeth area because the hole was really big. It will take some time before the bone recover and close up the holes.

After removing the stitches, it was only 9.45am and we thought of where we should go and eat because it is really early!! So we went to the craft shop to search for stuff we needed for out craft. For me, I needed to search for stuff to do MOM's scrapbook and MOM needed to search for a box to package auntie Siew Hong's present for Esther. We ended up buying for of stuff like boxes to contain my crystals and small materials, we even bought a fortune cat because its so cute and I've yet to fix it even till now! Haha..

When we finished shopping for our materials, it was around 12pm and we went to Dessert Shop to have some desserts to fill our empty stomachs. We had walnut paste, dao suan and seaseme rice ball.

We then went to Orchard, wanting to get something for Yvonne's birthday because she invited the whole family to her birthday party. But we ended up with nothing for her and I got 3 tops!!! 1 blue top from Topshop at Wisma Atria, 1 sleeveless blue knitted outer coat and 1 top from NET at Plaza Singapura. Oooolala.. We went to Carrefour to get some drinks and even Sushi because it was already 8.30pm and there bound to be some offers. I picked up my favourite salmon sushi!!! And while we were searching for the sushi we came across some interesting thing. HA.. *at least for me la* We saw an enormous bottle of wine which seems almost 4 times larger and the price was also fantastically expensive!!!

We went home and MOM started fixing the necklace for Esther and decorating it. She found some flowers in the storeroom and I suggested pasting some crystals to cause the entire present to look more expensive and brighter because I think the necklace by itself looks kind of cheapo. So the end result:

First time in braces. @ 23:53

Oh man.. I never thought putting on braces could be soooOOO painful.

I went for my appointment today at 10am thinking that it would be a great chance for me to cover my 4 holes which is so obvious because the teeth that are removed are so BIG. So naturally the gap is BIG.

MOM and I reached early just before 10am so we registered and filled in the form which is a necessary step due to H1N1 flu in Singapore. The nurse gave me 2 choices of toothbrush to choose from and I picked a travel brush because the other choice seemed so common. Then she picked out another 3 more brushes and told me to choose a color. There is Red, Green, Blue and Transparent. But the typical me, I chose the Red one. Haha..

and waited for a few minutes before we saw Dr Ang coming into the clinic. So I went in and he checked my condition eg. is my gum recovering well? He polished my extrinsic face of teeth and he wasn't aware that bottom left teeth 3's gum is very weak. So when he polished it, there was pain!

Then he fixed a thing into my mouth to open it then fix another gadget to push my tongue backwards. Then he used a blue-ish gel and placed it onto my teeth and washed it with water. That was when the back area of the mouth and tongue start to get painful but I thought it was due to the dryness and the suction thingy that was sucking all the water. It all took almost 15minutes.

Then he started fixing the brackets like how I paste every Swarvoski crystal onto my crafts! The assisting nurse would help him put the cement onto the brackets and he would fix it onto my teeth. And use another tweezer to put it into place and remove any excess cement. This entire process took another 15minutes. But at this moment, I just wished that he could use water to wash my mouth because it felt tooooooo dry and spicy at areas that was affected by the acidic chemical.

Then he waited for almost 2 minutes for the cement to dry and removed the gadgets that were in my mouth before fixing the wire into the braces. He calculated the length and ensured that it was just nice for my length of teeth and pressed the wire through the brackets. And its done! In 45 minutes! It felt funny to have the braces and my lips were popped out and uncomfortable.

I washed my mouth thoroughtly and I felt bitter thing in the mouth with the burning sensation in the internal part of the mouth.

Mom paid a downpayment of $2,000 an has a balance of $3,000 plus to go within this 1.5years. And fixed another appointment of almost 1.5 month later on 10 July'09. Dr Ang came out of the room and said "We don't offer discount if you suffer in silence so do give a call if you have any problems."

We went off and took a train to Takashimaya to get a bag and shopped around that area. I picked up 2 tank tops with the prints that I loved from Dorothy Perkins at only $9 per piece. It only left 2 pieces on the rack and both were size 12!! 1 black and another is Lime Yellow.

Then we shopped around and decided to have a break at Toast Box. Mom bought a Kaya thin bread and milo set and a bo lu bao and coffee set. GOODNESS!!! I can't even swallow the half boiled egg which is not even hot or even milo which is lukewarm because of the burned corner in my mouth. It was too painful.

We returned to the clinic and Dr Ang examined it saying that my mouth was sensitive to the chemical used because it was too acidic. He applied a mouth gel and asked me to wash my mouth with salt water 3 times a day.

The worst thing to hear is that I'm the first and only case to ganna such burn!!!!! GOODNESS!!

What a family. @ 15:33

I was kind of worked up just now when I talked to my Mom.

1 thing for sure is that I can only communicate with Mom at home because all the other guys just cannot make it.

It is simple. I hate it when people transfer their anger or vent their anger on me, so please don't do that because I did nothing much to deserve it.

I wanted to find out some stuff from Dad and Mom and that day Dad was not in the right mood. Well, so he simply flare out whatever nonsense at me when I asked the question which seems to instigate his anger.

Was talking to Mom today and she said that when Dad comes home, it is usually the end of the day and it is the timing that he is usually tired. Oh well.. 1st learning point, there is no need to communicate or try to build relationship with him because he is tired and I wanna escape the unreasonable flare of words.

And Mom also told me that Dad went out to the market early to get Thread Fin fish (Ma Yao Yu) so that Mom can cook it with the porridge when I had my surgery for the first few days. Oh man. It total cost $100 just for a pathetic few pieces. 2nd learning point, Dad always buys stuff that I like or need to show he care or he is sorry but sometimes the things you say causes greater consequences than you think and you need to clear it up not simply doing things to show you care.

Mom also told me she talked to bro that he was too self-righteous because there were some things that I do which he didn't even know yet he termed me as immature and irresponsible. Oh crap.. 3rd learning point, never try to talk to him because he never listens especially since I am the youngest and holds no power or authority at home. Bottom line: Heck care..

The reason why I always never really mentioned my eldest bro is because there is nothing much to say. Ultimately: No comments.

In conclusion, I just want to stay away from all these matters if it dosen't concern me since no one appreciates and there is no need to interfere. Just do what is needed and don't expect people to change for you because they normally don't. You change yourself, and the way you look at things.

I was supposed to go for Expo service on Saturday because Dr Kim came for the service but I didn't make it in time. I calculated the time that I would reach Expo that Saturday to be around 7pm and I thought it would be rather late. Ushers would close the door and allow no one to enter as soon as Dr Kim starts preaching (according to my usher experience).

I met up with my friend whose boyfriend was suppose to go for a wedding and she couldn't make up her mind whether to join him. But I hitched a ride from them to City Hall thinking that I could still make it for service.

But it was kind of late and my friend also decided not to join him for the wedding dinner so we lingered in Town area to wait for him to finish the dinner. Went to catch a bite at Rafffles City Mos Burger because he was hungry but I couldn't really eat because my wound were still healing and yet to remove the stitches. So when her boyfriend left, we went to walk around scouting for food that I could nibble on. WUAHAHAHA..

Anyway, we decided to go to Bakerzin at Suntec City and ordered some cakes.

We chatted about every topic, any topic under the sun. Talked about our ministry, members, friends, relationship.

I asked her something like "How do you know that he is the guy you are looking for?" because I knew that she had more than 1 choice to choose from and I really wondered what if you just make the wrong choice? But she gave me an answer which could only be possible when you are in love that is when she talked about or to her present boyfriend, she would have butterflies in her stomach. HAHA. I had that when I'm taking exams too. Opps!

we chatted and chatted and she shared that when her boyfriend was overseas, she worried about things that every woman would have worried about. "What if he fell for another girl? Because there is always a better girl out there!" She shared her insecurities with him at that time and he had to reassure her time and time again. Sometimes, women need to listen to sincere words la.. Haha..

But really.. He told her that he has made a choice and he is sticking to it because he has given his word and commitment to her. And there are better girls out there, taller, slimmer, prettier, but he is sticking with her because the day he popped the question to get together is the day he say "I commit."

This reminds me of my commitment with God too. HA...

Will there be a person whom I will trust and love too? This has always been an issue because guys in church who are taller than me like 178 and above are few and sometimes when you look at the streets, there seems to be so many of them. Not only tall, but nice looking and dresses well. This question constantly comes. Especially when I see girls at my height dating good looking guys taller than them (as in the ideal height eg. When we wear heels, they are still taller). Haha.. Common types are those Yang Guang nan hai (beach boys). Erm.. But I don't see them in church. Haha..

But both of us agree that it is probably just not time yet. Maybe when I start working then he will show up because I prefer him to have a stable income so that I can be tai tai. HAHAHA. Or probably, God is just preparing either one of us because there were still issues to be dealt with.

When we left, she gave me 1 packet of sweets which she picked up from the wedding matrimony!! HA.. Interesting.

My hate. @ 23:41

I really hate inconsiderate people especially those who take public transport.

Really really really wondered what is going on in their pea brain or probably they have no brains. Stupid as they can be.

Today I was taking bus 13 home from Yio Chu Kang bus interchange at around 10.30pm when this young boy and his friend boarded the bus at Bishan MRT bus stop. He sat sloppily and started coughing into the air without covering his mouth along the way thinking that it is alright to do so. But the thing is that he was coughing as if he was having TB and what stupid young person he was to not realise that it was such a turn off la. Because his freaking germs from the whatever particles that was coughed out from his lungs or throat or his damn mouth is floating in the air! It is so super duper disgusting la.

Never think of getting a girl with such a lousy personal grooming skills or poor personal hygiene. The girl will never think highly of him man.

I still remember when I was still in Tampines Junior College, our principal made an announcement to say that an adult from the public has made a complaint to the school claiming that the students did not move into the back of the bus even if there was space. BUT hello?! Who on earth did they inherit such inconsiderate habits or thoughts? Parents right? Isn't it dump for adults to pick on children when they taught such weak value either through actions or words? Stuuupid. Why do I say so? Because adults also do that?! Make such complains just to slap themselves with the same thing.

And I always remember that MOM and the Government will always encourage us to give priority to the elderly. But what for?! Many of them fight for it anyway? Many times, MOM and I always will let them board the bus so that we can prevent them from pushing or stepping on our feet due to "KIASURISM". And what kind of role model can the children be looking up to? Stuupid.

Oooo.. I almost forgot another incident when I was taking Bus 76 with Samantha today to PY's grandma's wake at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4.

This stuuuupid woman have no brains to see that her bag was pushing against my body as she was coming out of her seat. And she was blind to see that her bag was pulling up my polo tee-shirt until i shifted and shove her bag aside gently and said "Eh.. Woman.." And when I turned back to continue walking to alight the bus, another stuuuupid woman intercepted and bumped onto me as she was coming out of her seat. Eh... No brains is it? Cannot wait meh? The bus will fly to Holland after this stop is it? Use your pea brain la.. The bus driver will wait right?? Feel like smacking her head to wake up her idea man..

Conclusion: I give way to those who really deserves it and tell those people off when they are just too much and have pea brains. Taking it for granted.

Experience GA for the first time. @ 21:53

WOOOOOoooo... Had my surgery to pluck out 9 teeth on May 11, 2009!!

Honestly, the experience is not as scary as what many thought to be.

First, I've to register myself and change into the operation gown and 1 person was allowed to accompany me inside while waiting for my turn. Obviously, anxious Mom came in to accompany me.

While waiting for the nurse to do the necessarry administrations, we sat near the children's waiting room. Listening to the sister/head nurse who was making calls to various patients to fix appointments and do a follow up call on those patients who have done their operations.
Then the nurse called us in to discuss the surgery only for us to realise that they didn't know that I was opting to pluck out 9 teeth! 4 wisdom teeth, 4 first molar and 1 impacted first molar. Sooo she has to fill in the particulars and documents again.

While waiting we saw 2 patients who had completed the operation enter their bed ward. 1 guy say around 20? and another girl say around 18? When it was my turn, I had to sign a document to verify the surgery to pluck 9 teeth to proceed. Another assisting nurse who is stationed in the operating theatre came and accessed me with the same questions like am I pregnant, am I well or am I a drinker or smoker. Observing that my voice was muffy and nose was kind of stuffed and the nurse thought that I was unwell and had flu but I was having a morning sinus instead.

Next moment, I walked into the operating theatre and laid onto the tiny whiny bed which seems so small for me. As I laid there, I remember I was shaking in fear and the anasthesian was explaining things to me. What else do I need to know right? Things he said were like he will inject a IV for me then inject the anasthetic to cause me to sleep.

As when he was about to inject the IV for me, his HP rang! So he injected the deep and big needle while he was on the phone. I was so trembling in fear. Then he injected the anasthesia and told me that he will call my name later to make sure I was already sleeping and when I feel sleepy, I should just go and sleep! HAHA.. Then the assisting nurse took the oxygen mask and put it over my face and said "Let me give you some oxygen so that you can breathe better or feel better."

As i opened my eyes the next moment was when the nurse called my name to wake me up and tell me that the operation was over! I remember laying on the bed that they pushed near to the operating theatre. I was either at the holding area to make sure that my condition was safe to move me to my resting corner or for me to recover from all the operation steps.

IT WAS SUPER SUPER SUPER COLD when I work up! Not that the they reduced the temperature nor it is because it was going to rain heavily outside as I saw the clouds darkened through the window! But the only reason that I could think of is because I lost lots of blood during the operation as they plucked 9 of my teeth! HA...

As i rested on the bed at the ward, i kept trembling in cold so I asked the nurse to help me take my Adidas red jacket from the small cardboard beside the bed to keep me warm. My head was goggy and extremely heavy as all I wanted to do was to SLEEP!

The nurse woke me up because she wanted me to drink some blackcurrent glucose drink to make me more sober and feel better because I didnt have any food since 1am plus and I just lost lots of blood. And the sister wanted to remove the IV needle for me. Then i realise that my lips were so numbed, my entire lower jaw was also so numbed that it felt like my lips were swollen as if they were 2 gigantic hotdogs!

After taking a few sips which I choked upon, I felt nausea and didn't really want to take anything. But after resting for a few minutes, I took more sips of the glucose drink and my head is starting to get less heavy. The nurse who did the administration documents for me came to check my condition and asked if I was having any nausea or still feel sleepy etc. She also asked if my parents were on the way back to fetch me home. I recovered real fast after that and even changed to my civilian clothes! I finished the glucose drink and started to examine the 9 teeth that were contained in a zip lock pouch.

Mom reached soon after that and passed me my pouch which contained my PSP, HP and wallet. And to cheer me up after the operation, she bought a rabbit by Hugs & Kisses from Precious Thots for me! HA... As young as ever. While getting the appointment to remove my stitches on next mon and settling the payment, I rested on the bed watching Star Wars Episode 4!! And took photo of the rabbit!!! Heeee... Memory know?!
When we walked out of NDC to take a cab, I was still feeling a little goggy and sleepy. WHICH MIGHT BE THE REASON WHY I FORGOT TO TAKE MY SOUVENIRS!!!! MY 9 TEETH WAS LEFT ON THE CARDBOARD NEXT TO MY BED!!!!!!! Goodness me?! I forgot to take the very thing that will forever remind me of a major event in my life! But anyway, the sister (forgot to mention her name - Mrs Chow) called Mom to ask her if I still wanted the souvenirs and said that she would keep for me till next Mon when I'm going back to remove the stitches.

When I reached home, I felt that my lower left wisdom tooth area was bleeding. So I asked Mom if I need to put the gauze to stop the bleeding but she said its ok.
Results: I woke up 20 mins later to find my bed stained with my own blood which flowed out of my mouth while I was sleeping!!

Immediately, 6 pieces of gauze were in my mouth to stop the bleeding of the wisdom teeth area from both sides. After which I slept.. And slept.. And slept even more.. Of course, meals like (porridge w fish, steam egg w rice, oatmeal, milo, potato w fish & mini onion, mee sua with pork hotdogs, eggs, sliced meat and minced meat) and medicines (like anitbiotic, gastric medicine and mouth wash) in between.

THE END.
