I kept asking for the 3 same things and there didn't seem to be any breakthrough. Somehow, I felt that this is a test, a test of patience without losing faith, hope and love. A test of believing that the seed will grow and bud off with fruits. A test of trusting God in His ways.
"Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting pariently for it until it receives the early and latter rain." - James 5:7
You are the farmer who has sowed many seeds onto the field but has no control over the growth of the seeds. All you could do is trust that He who has control over it will make it grow. And have hope UNTIL you see the fruits of your sowing; be it prayers or works; waiting patiently UPON the Lord.
Career. Ministry. Relationship.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." - 3 John 1:2
While we focus on the various aspect of our own life, don't forget that God should always be in the center. There are times that we can stray away from this Source but you must always come back to the very foundation of your faith - relationship with God. In this way, everything else will prosper.
