I appreciate the "Coffee With Kong" session on the topic of unequally yoked.
Pastor explained that the yoke is not referring to the yellow substance in the egg. Yoke was referring to the equipment that connects two bulls together working in the field. You cannot have two bulls that has different directions, speed and vibes working together, connected by the yoke. There will be a lot of problems.
As such, finding someone that you would lay your life for, work with for a long term with a certain focus and live together must be equally yoked with you. This person should have the same vibes as you, same vision and focus, same principles and values, same faith etc.
Being equally yoked suddenly seem so important to me.
I had some issues thrown to me and I wanted to find someone who could give constructive and objective advice that is not bias is so difficult. Some around just said I need to decide myself, others repeated what I said and never give any advice. Suddenly, I felt so unheard and stucked as I could only fell back myself and the Holy Spirit. I could only fall back to that peace that surpasses all understanding.
Which is sufficient.
Nevertheless, I want to find someone who could be equally yoked with me.
